Gluten-free bean pasta, spaghetti and noodles

Yes, gluten-free and made of beans! Explore cuisine and Explore Asian products are not just healthy and super high in protein, they also taste amazing.

I first found out about them at veg fest Brighton (I am still giggling when I hear myself pronounce the name).

They had a stand there and offered some freebies to try. Always excited about free food I tried them and genuinely loved them. Their pasta doesn't just taste nice (it has a different texture to normal pasta, hard to explain, almost meaty) but it's super high in protein (44g or protein/100g of black bean spaghetti for example).

This makes cooking really easy because you don't need to add extra protein (e.g. tofu, nuts, legumes) to your pasta as it already ticks all the boxes. Just cook the pasta (5-6 min only), add tomato sauce and done!

And it's all organic and of course... drumroll... vegan!

Back then I ordered a large pack over the internet (amazon, either search for explore cuisine or explore asian) but now I even found them in my large Sainsbury's supermarket. It's fantastic to see vegan products becoming more readily available now!

So when the guys sent me a box with goodies to try I was over the moon!

I've already had the black bean spaghetti, organic edamame and mung bean fettuccine and the organic edamame spaghetti. I loved all of them.
