Warming hummus soup - delicious and high in protein

  • SHARE
I am absolutely in love with hummus. It's very healthy and yummy so i thought I could make a soup with it as well and it worked so well!

I don't know why I haven't tried before. The combination of the hummus with Dijon mustard and different vegetables makes a very comforting and delicious combination. It's also very easy to cook, there are no exotic ingredients, so you should be able to find all ingredients in your local supermarket. This soup is perfect for those days when you need comforting food without being unhealthy. Just make sure you get really good quality hummus for this recipe, the smoother the better.

In the meantime peel 2 carrots and cut them up finely, cube 4 medium sized potatoes and add them to the pot together with 0.75 - 1l of boiling water.

Add all other ingredients apart from the green beans and let cook for 15 minutes.

Then cut up the green beans and add to the soup and let cook for another 5 minutes or until done.

And you are done! All ready for you to enjoy!

Vegan spinach rice balls - high in protein and iron

I wanted to make something healthy again so I thought of a dish that's high in protein and iron as well. So these rice balls not only contain spinach, gram flour and almonds, all of which are rich in plant-protein and iron. And to boost the taste I also added black kalamata olives.

Vegan bacon - gluten-free, high in protein & super easy to make

I've been experimenting a bit and thought wouldn't it be nice to have a bacon alternative that's not mushrooms like in many other vegan recipes. Something that's very high in protein while at the same time vegan and healthier than real bacon with a similar texture. So I tried and tested and came up with this absolutely mouth-watering tofu bacon recipe.

Vegan boiled egg on avocado toast - packed with protein

This is my improved version of my vegan boiled egg I made previously. This one is using a few less ingredients and instead of having to buy egg moulds I used avocado skins instead. This way you can enjoy both an avocado toast and your very own vegan egg! Perfect for parties, it will definitely get people talking!
